​​​Located in Canton, GA, Greystone K-9 Services is your one-stop destination for comprehensive canine care. We specialize in breeding purebred Labrador Retrievers from genetic & health tested parents, ensuring exceptional quality and temperament. Our services extend beyond breeding, offering an extensive four-week obedience training program to help your dog reach their full potential. For your convenience, we also provide safe and comfortable boarding services in our climate-controlled facility (only offered to dogs that have completed the training program or puppies from our litters). MEET THE FOUNDER: JEFF COOLEY'S STORY​​​​​
​​​What started as a love for one dog has grown into a lifelong passion.​

It all began back in high school when I brought home Easton, a rescue Lab. I had no idea at the time how much that decision would shape my future. Training Easton sparked something in me—I discovered a deep love not just for dogs, but for the process of helping them reach their potential.​

Years later, after moving to a farm, I got Kaya and Finn with the simple plan to train them as hunting dogs and eventually breed them. I had no intentions of starting a business, but as I spent more time working with them, I became fascinated with training and started entering AKC competitions. That passion grew quickly, and I expanded my pack with Stella, Shelby, and Taylor. In December 2019, we welcomed our first litters from Stella and Shelby—and that was the moment everything changed.​​​​​
​​I made the decision to sell my landscaping company, purchase my first property, and officially launch Greystone Retrievers. What began as a personal passion had become a full-time mission: to train, board, and breed high-quality retrievers, and help others experience the joy of a well-trained dog.

I originally focused solely on gun dog and hunting training, working with retrievers in the field. Over time, my passion and skills expanded, and so did the needs of the people reaching out to me. Now, I specialize in obedience training for all medium to large breed dogs—helping families build better relationships with their dogs through clear communication, structure, and trust.
​Since launching, I’ve trained hundreds of dogs, raised numerous litters, and built a new property I never imagined would be possible. What began as Greystone Retrievers has now grown into Greystone K9 Services, offering a full range of support for dog owners—from training and boarding to breeding and premium dog products. Greystone K9 Services is more than just a business—it’s built on passion, purpose, and the belief that every dog has the potential to be incredible.
